The web 2.0 workshop took place at Muhimbili University of health and Allied Sciences campus; participants were from different organizations here in Tanzania. They had an opportunity to understand the concept of web 2.0, types, its characteristics and key challenges. Also participants had an opportunity to understand more on knowledge sharing.
This is a very interesting course for everyone to know because it has something to do with sharing knowledge (sharing what you know/have) and see what others have been doing. Also for researchers and it is very useful since it become very easier for them to disseminate knowledge and innovations/information to end users very easily, also it helps them to do corroborative works using Google docs.
Lecturers also can disseminate information to their students through the use of twitter, and face book page.ie information about lecture session and seminars. Businessmen can use face book pages to advertise their products and companies or organizations so that their customers can go in there and see what they produce.
